How do I pay for items using M-Pesa? expand_more
When you find an item you want to buy, tap "Buy Now" and follow the M-Pesa STK push on your phone. Your payment is held securely by gikomba.app until you confirm the item has arrived as described — then it's released to the seller.
How do I list an item for sale on the app? expand_more
Tap the + button on the home screen, take up to 8 photos, fill in a description and price, then tap "List Item". Your listing is live immediately and visible to buyers across Nairobi.
Is my money safe if something goes wrong? expand_more
Yes. All payments are held in escrow by gikomba.app until you confirm receipt. If the item doesn't arrive or isn't as described, you can open a dispute within the app and we'll review it within 24 hours.
How do I get a Verified Seller badge? expand_more
Go to your profile settings and tap "Verify Account". You'll be asked to upload a photo of your ID. Verification takes up to 2 hours and unlocks the seller badge, boosting your listing visibility.
Which cities does gikomba.app deliver to? expand_more
We support deliveries across Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, and Eldoret. You can also arrange local meetups anywhere in Kenya. More cities coming soon.
